Ask: name the bet
A request is not yet a bet. Before anything gets built, Ask answers eight questions: the decider, the user outcome, today’s facts, the fixed limits, the available levers, the route to users, the proof you will accept, and the deadline for the call.
Map: trace the path to a user
The map follows the idea from the request to the moment a user meets it, whether on a screen, in a chat window or through an agent acting for them. It shows where a cheap prototype can answer the riskiest question.
Move: prototype, then measure
Make the smallest version that can fail in front of a user. Measure it against what you wrote down at the start. Only bets that survive earn a spec and engineering time.
